Masonic Village Staff

We employ care assistants, registered nurses, housekeeping and laundry staff, kitchen staff, maintenance staff, administration staff and activity staff.  We also have a great bunch of extra staff who help out when and where they’re needed.  There are more than 50 Wanganui people employed by Masonic Court Rest Home, making it a large provider of employment in our community.

When you enter Masonic Court Rest Home, you will be warmly greeted by Kylee at Reception.  Always with a smile on her face, you will certainly feel welcomed. The office is open every Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 9am - 4pm.

Victoria Morris is the Facility Manager.  Victoria has been in the health industry for more than 15 years and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of residential aged care to Masonic Court Rest Home.   Victoria operates an “open door” policy with staff, residents and their families, ensuring that no matter what, she’s ready to help and support.

Registered Nurse Leanne Milner is the Clinical Nurse Leader.  Leanne is in charge of the care staff, including care assistants and registered nurses on site.  She is very experienced in New Zealand Aged Care and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Masonic Court.  Leanne works four days a week and she and our two registered nurses are on-call 24 hours, seven days a week.  Friendly and efficient Registered Nurse Simy is on the floor Monday to Thursday, and  Registered Nurse Rachel provides nursing care every Thursday to Sunday.

We also have a well-known Wanganui general practitioner who is our House Doctor.  Dr Cantillon operates a surgery for our residents every Wednesday.
